Resetting the relay button nightly sounds like a plan as well. I like the idea of putting a reset button on the panel just in case they see it offline which would open and close the relay. So if I take the red voltage line of the Jandy and run it through the relay of my PRO2 (before) the Jandy RS232 module and just leave the relay N/C it should work fine.? Some jobs the jandys work flawlessly, and some are nothing but trouble. I poll the jandy on page flips to the pool control pages. I also use the jandy resetonator module from the files. I put a reset button on the panels so the client can reset if they notice an issue with sync. I have actually run the power leg of the keypad buss that feeds the serial adapter thru a relay on the crestron. The buttons are individually customlabeled to match the need of each system. We're hard wired via RS232.Īnybody else ran into this and have a work around? I suppose we could try to wire in an EX switch and put it on a scheduler to power cycle it, or maybe put the thing on a rotary timer to reboot it every night or something?Īny ideas would be appreciated. A power cycle of the pool panel normally brings it back talking again. On Jul 9, 2012, at 12:25 PM, LENREX wrote:Īt one of our houses we've had a Jandy Aqualink RS8 running for about a year now.
